Well, I've officially fallen off the wagon. The wagon isn't anywhere in sight, and I am tired of being overweight.
I was thinking of this the other day when I was going through our DVD collection trying desperately to find the Wii Sports DVD that the kids had misplaced (again), when I came across a multitude of exercise DVD's that I've bought over the years: Tae Bo Amped!; Windsor Pilates; Core Secrets; Core Rhythms (abs are an issue for me, can you tell?); 10-Minute Abs; and I'm not sure if that covers all of them.
It occurred to me, I've spent a ton of money on these things, and I'm still overweight. What's the deal? Are they full of crap? Do they work? Are they boring? They all promise skinny-heaven, and I haven't reached it yet.
So here's the deal. I'm going to do 5-6 days of home exercise DVD's for 30 days and report back to you as to which ones work, which ones are boring, which ones are worth the money. I'd love to hear from you about your favorites, should anyone other than my Mom read this, and how you keep fit. I may not get there by the New Year, but hopefully by Christmas, I'll be back on track to my skinny pants.
Wish me luck!
